The Summer Training as Research Scholars (STaRS) Program at Boston University is an on-site summer research program for undergraduates and first-year Boston University medical school students, offering a valuable opportunity to confirm interest in doctoral studies and a career in research. Eligibility Requirements
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Expected to graduate in 2027 or later
- Currently enrolled in a STEM degree program (part-time or full-time) leading to a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Interest in biological research
- Some prior research experience (optional)
- Three letters of recommendation
