Charles Drew University Undergraduate Cancer Research Training Program
The Undergraduate Cancer Research Training Program (UCRTP) at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science is an intensive 10-week summer research program for undergraduate students interested in pursuing careers in biomedical sciences, with a focus on cancer research. The program aims to provide students with hands-on research experience, mentorship from faculty members, and exposure to various aspects of cancer biology and research methodologies. Participants will conduct independent research projects, attend seminars and workshops, and present their findings at the end of the program. Eligibility Requirements
- Low income or underrepresented minority.
- Undergraduate freshman, sophomore, or junior.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of college-level general biology and/or introductory chemistry.
