Dame Elizabeth Murdoch Research Fellowship
ch Travelling Fellowship, named after Keith Murdoch and his wife Elisabeth, is awarded to talented students in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Melbourne. The fellowship is designed to support graduates or final year students who wish to travel overseas to further their studies in fine arts, enhancing their artistic development through exposure to international arts communities.
The Keith & Elisabeth Murdoch Travelling Fellowship (Art) is provided to enable graduates from VCA, School of Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music to travel abroad and enjoy a measure of financial support during the early years of their professional careers. It is offered biennially in odd years (2023, 2025 etc). Applicants must have graduated within the 4 years previous to the closing date.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be current students or recent graduates (within the last two years) of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Melbourne.
- Must demonstrate high achievement in their respective art form and present a clear plan for their travel and study abroad, which will contribute to their artistic development
