The Data Science for Social Good (DSSGx) program at the University of Warwick is an intensive, project-based summer fellowship designed to train aspiring data scientists to work on data science projects with social impact. A 12-week summer program bringing together some of the top talent from data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, to work on real-world data science challenges and deliver positive social impact.

Fellows work in collaboration with non-profit organizations, government agencies, and global partners to create data-driven solutions to real-world social challenges. The program includes training in data science techniques, hands-on project work, and mentorship from experienced data scientists.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Open to late-stage undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and recent graduates.
  • Strong background in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated interest in applying data science to social issues.
