This immersive program offers undergraduates the opportunity to conduct innovative research in cutting-edge facilities at Harvard University. Participants are mentored by faculty across various departments, including Physics, Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, and institutes such as the Wyss Institute and the Broad Institute. The program emphasizes scholarly and pre-professional development through workshops on science communication, research integrity, and insights into PhD and MD/PhD experiences. Scholars also engage in social activities and networking events, culminating in a final oral presentation of their research.

Eligibility Requirements

  • U.S. citizens or permanent residents
  • Undergraduates enrolled in accredited four-year colleges or universities in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or other U.S. territories
  • Sophomores, juniors, or non-graduating seniors returning in the fall to continue undergraduate studies
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above
  • Interest in pursuing a PhD or MD/PhD
