The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) BioREU program is a 10-week summer research experience funded by the National Science Foundation, designed to provide intensive, mentored research opportunities for undergraduates, particularly those from institutions with limited research resources. Eligibility Requirements

  • Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents enrolled at two- or four-year colleges or universities.
  • Rising sophomores, students from community colleges or institutions with limited research opportunities, and non-traditional students (e.g., first-generation college attendees, veterans, older students) are especially encouraged to apply.
