The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) BioREU program is a 10-week summer research experience funded by the National Science Foundation, designed to provide intensive, mentored research opportunities for undergraduates, particularly those from institutions with limited research resources. Participants engage in hands-on research under the mentorship of JHU faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students. Eligibility Requirements
- Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents enrolled at two- or four-year colleges or universities.
- Rising sophomores, students from community colleges or institutions with limited research opportunities, and non-traditional students (e.g., first-generation college attendees, veterans, older students) are especially encouraged to apply.
