National High Magnetic Field Laboratory Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (MagLab) is a 10-week summer internship designed for college students interested in pursuing a career in science. Funded by the National Science Foundation, this program offers participants the opportunity to work closely with MagLab scientists on in-depth research projects across various scientific disciplines.
Participants engage in research experiences in physics, chemistry, biological sciences, geochemistry, materials science, and magnet science and engineering. The program includes weekly seminars and colloquia to broaden participants' knowledge of MagLab research and potential career paths.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program at an accredited institution.
- You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
- You must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program.
