Northeastern University Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) - Pathways Program at Northeastern University offers a 10-week summer research experience for community college students pursuing engineering disciplines. This non-residential program is designed to provide participants with hands-on research opportunities under the mentorship of Northeastern's College of Engineering faculty.
Participants engage in research projects across various engineering fields, attend workshops, seminars, and field trips, and receive training in engineering topics and software tools. The program culminates in a final research presentation and poster session.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an engineering or engineering pathway at a community college.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
- Able to commute daily to Northeastern's Boston campus, as this is a non-residential program.
