As part of the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA), SROP provides participants with the opportunity to engage in graduate-level research under the mentorship of Penn State faculty across various disciplines.

Participants collaborate with faculty mentors on research projects, attend research writing seminars, professional development workshops, and engage in social activities. The program culminates in the submission of a scholarly research paper and an oral presentation of research findings.
