SRF Summer Scholars Program

United States · MassachusettsUndergraduateEntry ID: PR-93814

The SRF Summer Scholars Program is designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive research experience in the fields of aging and regenerative medicine. Participants are placed at leading universities, research institutions, and laboratories across the U.S., including Harvard University, where they work on research projects aimed at understanding the biology of aging and developing therapies to address age-related diseases.

The program offers students the opportunity to work alongside top researchers in the field, learning cutting-edge laboratory techniques and methodologies. Projects may include studies on stem cell biology, tissue engineering, gene therapy, and other areas of regenerative medicine. Students gain valuable skills in experimental design, data collection, analysis, and scientific communication.

In addition to laboratory work, the program includes a professional development component, where students participate in seminars, journal clubs, and networking opportunities with professionals in the field of regenerative medicine. The program culminates with a final research presentation, allowing participants to share their findings with the scientific community.
