Stowers Summer Scholars Program
The Stowers Summer Scholars Program is an intensive research internship designed for undergraduate students with a strong interest in biomedical research. This eight-week program offers students the opportunity to work on independent research projects under the guidance of Stowers Institute scientists. Scholars will gain hands-on experience in a variety of laboratory techniques, attend seminars and workshops, and present their research findings at the end of the program. The program aims to inspire students to pursue careers in scientific research and to provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in graduate and professional programs.
Eligibility Requirements
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student who has completed at least one year of studies.
- Majoring in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, chemistry, physics, computing, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
