UAB Preparation for Graduate and Medical Education (PARAdiGM) Summer Program
The PARAdiGM (Preparation for Graduate and Medical Education) Undergraduate Research Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is designed to provide undergraduates with a hands-on research experience in the fields of biomedical sciences and health-related research. This 10-week summer program aims to prepare students for careers in medicine and research by immersing them in cutting-edge research projects under the guidance of UAB faculty. Participants will also attend workshops, seminars, and professional development activities, culminating in a research symposium where they present their findings.

Eligibility Requirements
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Sophomore or junior level college undergraduate.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Students that have no local campus access to research experiences or physician-scientist role models, and students from groups underrepresented in the sciences are encouraged to apply.
