UROC (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium) is administered by the University of Arizona Graduate College and is an umbrella for a number of undergraduate research programs that provide participants with research training and graduate (Master's and PhD) school preparation.
Eligibility Requirements
- Rising junior or senior status (McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement program also accepts sophomores)
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Interest in pursuing a Master's or PhD
- Ability to be in Tucson, AZ and commit to 40 hours/week during the summer program dates
- May not participate in UROC more than once; no previous research experience required
