The Wake Forest Research Fellowship (WFRF) gives undergraduates the opportunity to pursue intensive, faculty-mentored scholarship over the summer. Applications are written by the student but developed in conversation with the faculty mentor; each mentor may sponsor only one WFRF applicant per year. The fellowship primarily supports projects mentored by Reynolda College faculty, with a limited number of additional projects funded by the Provost's office for mentors from the Medical School and School of Business.

- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Must have full consent of a Wake Forest faculty mentor (mentors limited to Reynolda College, with limited Medical School/School of Business mentor slots).
