The Yale School of Medicine Summer Research Program is an eight-week program offered to first-year medical students from Meharry Medical College, Morehouse School of Medicine, Ponce School of Medicine, San Juan Bautista School of Medicine, Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. The program pairs students with Yale faculty members from various research fields. Students in the program work on clinical research or a basic science project, ultimately completing and presenting a research poster.
