The Yale University BioMed Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (BioMed SURF) is an intensive research program designed for undergraduates interested in pursuing careers in biomedical sciences. Participants will engage in hands-on research under the guidance of Yale faculty members, attend workshops and seminars, and present their research findings at the end of the program. This fellowship aims to provide a comprehensive research experience and prepare students for advanced studies in biomedical fields.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be a current undergraduate student at the time of application.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrated interest in biomedical research and pursuing a career in the biomedical sciences.
- Students from underrepresented groups in the sciences, economically disadvantaged backgrounds, or those who have overcome significant educational, social, or economic barriers are encouraged to apply
