The Clarendon Scholarship, funded by the Clarendon Fund at the University of Oxford, awards over 200 fully-funded scholarships each year to academically outstanding graduate students from all nationalities and all degree-bearing subjects. Selected solely on academic merit and potential, recipients join one of Oxford's most active and diverse scholarly communities.
Eligibility Requirements
- Open to all full-time and part-time applicants for new Master's (taught or research) or DPhil courses at the University of Oxford.
- Must apply by the course-specific December or January admissions deadline for scholarship consideration.
- No restrictions on nationality, country of ordinary residence, or academic discipline.
- Demonstrated outstanding academic merit and future potential across all fields.
- Includes current Oxford Master's students re-applying for a DPhil or another Master's.
- Ineligible: Holders of deferred offers; current students continuing the same degree course.
