The International Undergraduate Achievement Scholarship at the University of York is designed to recognize and reward the academic excellence of outstanding international undergraduate applicants. This scholarship offers a £10,000 tuition fee discount for the first year of study.

Application Process: There is no separate application required for this scholarship. All international undergraduate students holding an offer at York by the specified date will be automatically considered.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time undergraduate course at the University of York by 9 May 2025.
  • Fee Status: Must be paying fees at the overseas rate; any fee assessments should be completed by 9 May 2025.
  • Academic Qualifications: Predicted or achieved grades should be equivalent to A Level ABB, International Baccalaureate 34 points, or similar qualifications.
  • Exclusions: Applicants holding a 100% tuition fee scholarship or those fully sponsored are not eligible. Additionally, students enrolled in the following pathways are ineligible:
    • Hull York Medical School
    • International Pathway College
    • Distance and online learning courses
    • Part-time courses
    • Kaplan International College London
