Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cambridge
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cambridge provides full scholarships to academically talented, economically disadvantaged students from Africa. The program focuses on nurturing future leaders with the skills, knowledge, and commitment to address complex global challenges. In addition to full financial support, scholars benefit from mentoring, leadership training, and opportunities to participate in community-building and professional development activities.
Prospective Scholars can apply across a wide range of disciplines. The only exceptions are Master of Accountancy (MACC), Business Administration (MBA), Master of Corporate Law (MCL), and Master of Finance (MFIN).
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a citizen of and currently reside in an African country.
- Demonstrate financial need and limited access to education.
- Show exceptional academic ability and leadership potential.
- Commit to returning to their home country after graduation to contribute to positive change.
- Apply to one of the eligible master's programs at the University of Cambridge.
