Melbourne Access Scholarships

Melbourne Access Scholarships are designed to support domestic undergraduate students who face economic challenges or personal difficulties that might otherwise hinder their ability to attend university. These scholarships aim to increase access to higher education for students from diverse backgrounds.
No Separate Scholarship Application: Eligible students are automatically considered for the scholarship upon applying for admission to the University of Melbourne.
Notification: Successful candidates will receive scholarship offers within two weeks of receiving a course offer.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, or Australian permanent residents.
- Must be commencing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne.
- Should demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants from rural or isolated areas, those who have experienced personal difficulties, or who come from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
