The Roderick Guthrie Graduate Scholarship is awarded to graduate students at the Lassonde School of Engineering conducting research in Process Engineering Metallurgy and/or related Environmental/Energy Issues. This scholarship supports both incoming and continuing students who demonstrate outstanding academic and research potential. It encourages students to pursue innovative solutions and contribute to advancements in their respective fields.
Value: One award of $5,000.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be full-time graduate students (Master’s or Doctoral) at the Lassonde School of Engineering.
- Conduct research related to Process Engineering Metallurgy and/or related Environmental/Energy Issues.
- Have a minimum grade point average of 'A'.
- Meet additional criteria based on their status:
- Incoming students: Must have participated in engineering activities related to their study.
- Continuing students: Must demonstrate a high level of research and academic performance through teaching, presentations (conferences/seminars), or publishing research papers.
