The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme at Ashesi University is a comprehensive initiative designed to provide academically talented yet financially disadvantaged young Africans with access to quality education. Ashesi and the Mastercard Foundation have partnered since the program's 2012 launch, with Ashesi among its nine pioneering partners; hundreds of Mastercard Foundation Scholars have enrolled at Ashesi since. The program covers all fees, room and board, and learning resources, plus additional socio-economic support, and connects scholars to Ashesi's alumni network and the program's own scholar-alumni network.
Eligibility Requirements
- African student from an underprivileged background.
- Admitted to Ashesi University's undergraduate program via the general scholarship/admissions application.
