The UC-Southeast Asia Excellence Scholarships are designed to support high-achieving students from Southeast Asian countries who are commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework studies at the University of Canberra. This scholarship aims to attract top academic talent from Southeast Asia, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship: applicants must be citizens of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam
- Academic achievement: GPA 5.5/7, or 80%+ (or equivalent) for Bachelor's degrees, 75%+ (or equivalent) for Master's degrees
- Enrollment: applying for a CRICOS-registered undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University of Canberra's Australian campuses (excludes HDR programs, standalone Honours, non-award courses, offshore programs, and a short list of nursing/health courses)
- Other requirements: must meet standard admission requirements for the chosen program
