Eligibility Requirements

  • A UW-Madison undergraduate or graduate student, and United States Citizen, and a Student in the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies, and whose field of study is related to equal opportunities and rights for underrepresented groups in the American workplace.
  • Application: Please submit application materials via Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WiSH).
  • The application should include the following (please combine them into a single PDF, if possible)
  • An essay (up to 600 words) on how your research is focused on furthering the cause of ensuring equal rights, pay, and benefits for underrepresented groups or populations in the American workplace.
  • A resume
  • Complete transcripts from UW-Madison (unofficial transcripts accepted)
  • Award: The one-year award will provide a stipend of $500, which will be awarded at the end of the Spring semester to be used during the following academic year. Recipient will be announced by April 15, 2024.
