The Warburg's Assetto Fellowships host three creative practitioners per year, each within a 3- or 4-month academic term, selected between open-call applicants and candidates nominated by an external committee. Fellows include visual artists, filmmakers, photographers, composers, designers, game developers, and writers, among other fields, and are expected to contribute to the Institute's public programme (events, exhibitions, publishing, and/or digital content), though not always within the duration of the Fellowship itself.
Eligibility Requirements
- Those who have previously held a long-term fellowship at the Institute are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates from outside the EU will need to check the regulations for acquiring a visa to visit the UK for the period of their fellowships.
- Fellows will be expected to be based for the majority of their time at the Warburg.
- Nominations are made by the Warburg's Curatorial Advisory Board, or candidates may apply directly via open call.
For thorough eligibility and selection information, visit the official website or contact the organizers directly.
