ECE Summer Internship Program

United States · New JerseyUndergraduateEntry ID: PR-80277

The ECE Summer Internship Program at Princeton University provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to work alongside leading faculty in the field of electrical and computer engineering. The program covers a wide range of research areas, such as signal processing, computer vision, machine learning, hardware design, embedded systems, and robotics.

Interns are paired with faculty mentors who guide them through research projects involving experimental work, data analysis, software development, and computational modeling. Students may participate in projects related to designing and testing hardware components, developing algorithms for machine learning and signal processing, or building systems for robotics and autonomous vehicles.

In addition to hands-on research, participants attend seminars, workshops, and professional development activities that help build skills in scientific communication, research ethics, and technical problem-solving. The program culminates with a research symposium where students present their findings to faculty and peers.

The program provides a stipend to participants, and housing and travel assistance may be available for students from outside the Princeton area.
