A U.S. Department of State program, Global UGRAD brings exceptional undergraduate student leaders from more than 60 countries/areas to the United States for a one-semester, non-degree academic and cultural exchange. Roughly 320 students participate annually across 60 partner U.S. colleges and universities, building academic knowledge, professional skills, and volunteer/leadership experience alongside a nuanced understanding of the United States.
Eligibility Requirements
- Undergraduate student leaders from one of Global UGRAD's 60+ eligible countries/areas.
- Apply through the local U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section or Fulbright Commission for that country/area.
- Meet minimum English proficiency (TOEFL/Duolingo), or qualify for the Virtual English Language Training track.
- Non-degree program only -- one semester (fall or spring), not a full degree.
