Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Undergraduate Research Program
The Berkeley Lab Undergraduate Research (BLUR) program is designed for undergraduates, post-baccalaureates, and graduate students who have already established collaborations with scientists, engineers, or STEM professionals at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). Participants engage in hands-on research projects aligned with Berkeley Lab's core research areas, working alongside mentors, technicians, and professionals.
Internships last 10 weeks for the summer term (May through August) or 16 weeks for fall (August through December) and spring (January through May) terms. The program is paid and applications are solicited annually for each term through LBNL's Workforce Development & Education office. It provides valuable experience in a DOE national lab environment using state-of-the-art facilities.
