The MD Anderson Cancer Center Partnership Summer Research Program is designed to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage in hands-on cancer research. Participants will work alongside leading scientists and researchers in state-of-the-art laboratories, gaining valuable experience and contributing to significant cancer research projects. The program aims to inspire students to pursue careers in cancer research and healthcare.
Eligibility Requirements
- Open to undergraduate, graduate, and medical (MS1 and MS2 only) students from the University of Puerto Rico System, in good academic standing
- Fifth-year seniors returning to their undergraduate program in fall 2026 may also apply
- Strong interest in cancer research; must be ready to work in fast-paced research labs and be able to complete the entire program length (no early or late start/end dates permitted)
