Princeton Health Scholars Program

United States · New JerseyUndergraduateEntry ID: PR-01899

The Health Scholars Program is aimed at providing students with opportunities to explore health-related topics through independent research, internships, or special projects. Selected scholars receive funding to support their work, allowing them to pursue topics such as public health, healthcare access, health equity, global health challenges, healthcare policy, or medical research.

Each student works closely with a faculty mentor to design and execute a project that aligns with their academic and career interests. Projects might include research studies, health policy analyses, fieldwork in public health, or internships at health organizations, NGOs, or government agencies.

Throughout the program, students have access to CHW’s extensive resources and network of health experts. The program often includes professional development workshops and opportunities for students to present their work in a scholarly setting. The program provides financial support for travel, research materials, and other related expenses, allowing students to pursue fieldwork or research that may not be possible through regular coursework.
