The Summer Health-related Research Education Program (SHREP), formerly named the Diversity Summer Health-Related Research Education Program (DSHREP), at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is an intensive summer research opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students. This program aims to foster interest in health-related professions and biomedical research through mentorship, hands-on research projects, and professional development activities. The program runs late May through end of July, provides a stipend of $4,998 split into 3 payments, and offers housing to those living outside the Milwaukee metro area.
Eligibility Requirements
- 3.4 Undergraduate Science and Math GPA Required
- Completion of at least one year of college (three courses per academic term)
- Open to students at all undergraduate institutions
