The WAVE Fellows Program at Caltech aims to foster diversity by providing support to underrepresented students in STEM fields. This program offers undergraduates the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of Caltech faculty mentors. The program includes various professional development workshops, seminars, and community-building activities, designed to help students prepare for graduate school and future careers in STEM.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be current sophomores, juniors, or non-graduating seniors*
  • Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.4/4.0
  • Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have DACA status
  • Have an interest in pursuing a Ph.D.
  • Have prior research experience
  • Not be under any academic or disciplinary sanction
