University of Alberta Research Experience (UARE)
The University of Alberta Research Experience (UARE) is a prestigious research internship program designed for talented senior undergraduate students from select partner universities worldwide. Its primary purpose is to immerse participants in cutting-edge research under the mentorship of University of Alberta faculty, fostering the development of advanced research skills and real-world experience in a globally recognized academic environment.
The program spans 12 weeks, during which students receive a $6,000 CAD award to help offset participation costs, and benefit from comprehensive support services including immigration coordination, orientation, professional development seminars, and academic networking opportunities.
