The University of Cincinnati's Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience (SURF-N) is an intensive 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with hands-on research experience in the field of neuroscience. Participants work closely with faculty mentors on cutting-edge research projects, attend seminars, and participate in professional development activities. The program aims to inspire and prepare students for careers in neuroscience research.
Eligibility Requirements
- Sophomore or junior status in an accredited college or university. (Seniors may be considered if their expected graduation date is at least six months after the fellowship term ends.)
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Science coursework, such as general biology, general chemistry and/or physics as well as some advanced mathematics and/or statistics courses.
- US citizen or lawful permanent resident.
