UPRISE is a 12-week, full-time immersive summer research opportunity in which students work side-by-side with University of Cincinnati faculty mentors on cutting-edge research projects while investigating a specific scientific question. Students also meet weekly for professionalization workshops covering research readiness and skills, communication and collaboration, building confidence and overcoming challenges, and leadership and career development, all designed to build the technical expertise, professional skills, and mental resilience needed to thrive in STEMM careers.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled University of Cincinnati undergraduate (domestic or international students)
- Rising sophomore through rising senior
- Passion for STEMM research
