Eiffel Excellence Scholarship, University of Lyon
The Eiffel Scholarship of Excellence is a prestigious program developed by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, represented by Campus France, to attract top international students to master's and doctoral programs in France. INSA Lyon actively participates in this program by selecting and presenting candidates for the scholarship.
The scholarship aims to attract outstanding international students to pursue master's degrees (with a double diploma) or doctoral studies at INSA Lyon. It provides a monthly allowance (€1,181 for master's students and €1,800 for doctoral candidates) and covers international return tickets, national and local transport, social protection, supplementary health insurance, and cultural activities. Tuition fees are not covered by the Eiffel program.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: International students (non-French nationals)
- Age Limit: Under 30 years old for master's applicants; under 32 years old for doctoral applicants
- Academic Excellence: Applicants should be ranked in the top 10% of their class
- Residency Status: Priority is given to candidates residing in their country of origin at the time of application and not already living in France
- Field of Study: Engineering or engineering sciences for master's level; relevant fields for doctoral level
- Application Status: First-time applicants who are not recipients of other French government scholarships
