IDEX Master Scholarships
The Idex Master Scholarships at Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) are designed to attract outstanding international students to pursue master's or engineering degrees across various disciplines within the university. These scholarships provide financial support to exceptional international students enrolling in eligible master's or engineering programs at UGA. The scholarship amounts to €8,000 for one academic year (two semesters). If one of the semesters includes an internship, the scholarship amount is reduced to €5,000. The scholarship is awarded for one year; recipients pursuing a two-year program must reapply for the second year. Please note, the scholarship does not exempt students from paying tuition fees; this depends on the specific master's program.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must apply for the first or second year of a master's degree or the second or third year of an engineering degree at UGA.
- Open to international students, defined as:
- Currently enrolled in a university outside France.
- Having obtained their last degree from a foreign university.
- Having completed their secondary education (baccalaureate or equivalent) abroad, even if they have pursued further studies in France.
