The Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to high-achieving international students in recognition of their excellent academic results. This scholarship is designed to support international students who choose to pursue an undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne.
- Tuition Fee Remission:
- 100% tuition fee remission for the duration of a 3-year undergraduate degree (approximately 10 students per year).
- 50% tuition fee remission for the duration of the course (approximately 25 students per year).
- $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first year of the undergraduate program (approximately 30 students per year).
Renewal: The scholarship is awarded for the duration of the undergraduate program, provided the recipient maintains satisfactory academic progress.
You are automatically considered for this scholarship, if you have applied for admission for commencement in the award year.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be citizens of countries other than Australia and New Zealand and not permanent residents of Australia.
- Must have received an unconditional offer for an undergraduate course at the University of Melbourne.
Should have achieved excellent final year school results, such as: - 4 A-grades in the GCE A Levels
- An ATAR of 99.9 or equivalent in another educational system
- Overall 98% in an approved Foundation program
- International Baccalaureate (IB) score above 44
