Nanyang Technological University ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship

SingaporeUndergraduateEntry ID: SC-50356

The ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship, offered by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is designed for outstanding citizens or permanent residents from ASEAN countries (excluding Singapore). It supports full-time undergraduate degree programs leading to a first degree, excluding the Renaissance Engineering Programme. The scholarship covers the normal program duration, provided the recipient maintains good academic performance (minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0) and conduct.

Benefits include full coverage of subsidized tuition fees (after Tuition Grant), a living allowance of S$5,800 per academic year, accommodation allowance of S$3,000 per academic year, and a one-time computer allowance of S$1,750. There is no additional bond beyond the standard 3-year Tuition Grant bond for international students and Singapore PRs. Recipients must participate in the Community Involvement Programme and cannot hold other scholarships without approval.

Scholarship selection involves interviews (March-May for most qualifications), with shortlisted candidates notified by email. Overseas study is limited to 25% of credits, completed before the final year. The scholarship may be withdrawn for unsatisfactory progress, and premature termination requires repayment of benefits plus interest.
