Schulich Leader Scholarships
The Schulich Leader Scholarships are among Canada's most prestigious undergraduate awards, designed to support exceptional students pursuing studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Established in 2011 by philanthropist Seymour Schulich, the program aims to foster the next generation of entrepreneurial-minded technology innovators.
One hundred are awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math program at 20 partner universities across Canada. Half are valued at $120,000 for engineering scholarships and half are valued at $100,000* for science and math scholarships. Every high school in Canada can nominate one graduating student each year to apply for the scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nominees must demonstrate outstanding academic performance.
- Candidates should exhibit leadership qualities, charisma, and creativity.
- Applicants must intend to pursue a career in technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, or applied scientific research.
- Each Canadian high school can nominate one graduating student per year; Québec CÉGEPs may nominate up to four students.
