Simon Fraser University International Entrance Scholarships
The International Excellence Entrance Scholarship is a merit-based award offered by Simon Fraser University to incoming international undergraduate students entering in the Fall term from secondary school. Valued at $10,000, it is disbursed as a one-time payment in the Fall term and cannot be deferred. SFU Other Entrance Scholarships covers tuition or other educational expenses.
Consideration for this scholarship is automatic upon admission—no separate application is required. It targets students from specific geographic regions with excellent academic standing who are admitted to programs aligned with the university's strategic enrollment priorities, determined annually. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment (minimum 12 units) in their first term to receive the payment; failure to do so results in forfeiture. Citizenship is verified prior to disbursement.
