Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships are financed by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen. Mr. van Effen studied at TU Delft in the 1940s and believed technological developments contribute to solving societal issues. The Foundation stimulates excellent international MSc students and supports them financially to study at TU Delft. Number of scholarships: 2 per faculty.

Coverage: Full tuition fees per year (statutory or institutional rate based on nationality) + contribution for living expenses (for 2 years).

Eligibility Requirements

  • Excellent international applicant (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year regular TU Delft MSc programmes (not Joint Education Programme).
  • Excellent academic results in previous relevant study programme(s) (top 10% indicative, no proof required).
  • Submitted complete MSc application before scholarship deadline (1 Dec 2025), including Scholarship Application Form, 2 reference letters, English test if required.
