As part of its internationalization strategy, Université Paris-Saclay offers International Master's Scholarships (supported by IDEX funding through the Programme Investissements d'Avenir) to outstanding international students to facilitate access to its master's programs, particularly for those intending to pursue a PhD. The scholarship awards €10,000 per year, disbursed monthly from September to June (10 installments), with reductions applied for periods spent abroad on compulsory mobility or internships outside affiliated labs. Additionally, laureates receive a country-dependent flat fee of up to €900 (up to €1,000 per some sourcing) annually for travel and visa expenses. Payments commence only upon arrival in France and program enrollment; no advances are provided. Support includes administrative assistance for visas and residence permits, as well as housing search guidance, though accommodation is not guaranteed.
Eligibility Requirements
- Foreign nationality
- Admission to an eligible master's program at Université Paris-Saclay (all except vocational/apprenticeship)
- First-time enrollment in a French higher education institution (exceptions: exchange programs, Erasmus Mundus joint master's without French degree, internships, language courses)
- Under 30 years of age in the year of application
- No concurrent funding exceeding €600/month
- Incompatible with France Excellence Eiffel/Europa or Erasmus Mundus scholarships
