University of Bath International Scholarships
The Bath International Excellence Scholarships, offered by the University of Bath, provide up to 300 awards worth £8,000 per academic year (up to a maximum of £24,000 over three years) as tuition fee discounts for high-achieving international undergraduate students starting in September 2026. The scholarship supports new first-year overseas fee-paying students who hold an offer for any undergraduate degree at the University (excluding MArch Architecture). It is awarded based on academic profile and responses to three application questions focusing on personal ambitions, accomplishments, and contributions to the Bath community.
The award applies as a discount on tuition fees for full-time years of study, with no payment during placement or study abroad years. For example, in a four-year BSc with a placement in year 3, discounts apply to years 1, 2, and 4. Special provisions exist for courses with half-year placements like BSc Architecture and Business (£4,000 in those years), and it covers preparatory years where applicable. The scholarship ceases if the recipient switches to home fee status and is available only while paying overseas fees. Full terms will be published before applications open.
Applications are assessed continuously throughout the year, with guaranteed decision timelines to align with UCAS choices: by 30 April 2026 for applications by 1 April, 28 May for 14 May, and 9 July for 25 June. Deferred entrants can apply, replacing prior awards if applicable. This merit-based scholarship aims to reward excellence and enable talented students to join and contribute to the University of Bath community.
