University of Exeter Global Excellence Scholarship

United KingdomUndergraduateMaster'sEntry ID: SC-80875

The University of Exeter's Exeter Excellence Scholarships (also referred to as Global Excellence Scholarships in prior years) for 2026/27 recognize outstanding academic achievement among international students, providing tuition fee discounts to support their studies at this dynamic UK university. Awards range from £3,000 to £10,000 per year for eligible campus-based programs in departments across Environment, Science and Economy; Health and Life Sciences; and Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. For postgraduate taught (Masters) programs, the scholarship offers a one-year discount on international tuition fees. Undergraduate awards are recurring for each year of study, helping to cover ongoing costs. Scholars are expected to engage with the university community and may act as ambassadors.

Applications require holding an offer for an eligible program and submitting a personal statement addressing future ambitions, contributions to campus life, and ambassadorship. Multiple rounds allow flexibility, with decisions based on academic merit (equivalent to UK 2:1 or AAB at A-level) and demonstrated potential. Awards can sometimes be combined with country-specific scholarships up to a £10,000 cap. The scholarships aim to attract global talent to Exeter's research-rich environment, fostering academic and personal growth.
