University of Ottawa International Admission Scholarship
The International English Admission Scholarship is designed to assist newly admitted international students beginning their studies in Winter 2026 or later in approved English-language undergraduate programs at the University of Ottawa. Valued at $7,500 per term, it is renewable for up to 12 instalments, potentially totaling $90,000, provided the student maintains full-time enrollment in eligible faculties including Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences, or the Telfer School of Management. This scholarship significantly reduces tuition costs for qualifying international students studying in English.
Renewal is conditional on remaining enrolled full-time, with special provisions for Spring-Summer terms: full instalment for full-time enrollment or 50% for part-time (at least six units), counting as a full instalment toward the maximum. Students must apply separately via the uoZone portal for Spring-Summer instalments. The scholarship is not awarded during co-op work terms and cannot be combined with the Differential Tuition Fee Exemption Scholarship.
Offered automatically upon admission, no separate application is required, and eligible students are notified at the time of admission. It supports full-time study only, with revocation for interruptions, part-time enrollment (except specified Spring-Summer), or non-degree status. Number of awards is unlimited.
