The Alberta Innovates Summer Research Studentships (SRS) program provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage in health-related research during the summer months. The program aims to develop the next generation of health research and innovation leaders by providing experiential learning opportunities, skills development, and networking.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be registered in a full-time undergraduate degree program at a university in Canada or an Alberta-based institution with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Exceptional graduating high school students with a minimum 85% average and a clear interest in pursuing a health research career are also eligible.
- Students in their last semester may apply if they are enrolled as undergraduates or MD students at the time of application and are not entering a graduate program during the term of the award.
- Projects must be in an area of health-related research.
