The Fulbright Canada-Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Program is a joint Fulbright Canada/Mitacs opportunity for U.S. undergraduates to undertake advanced, faculty-supervised research projects at Canadian universities for 10 to 12 weeks, drawn from a broad cross-section of academic disciplines. Interns work under the supervision of a professor alongside graduate students and research associates, with professional training and cultural/social programming alongside the research placement.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
  • Must be registered and currently studying at an accredited university in the United States.
  • Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or combined undergraduate/master's program.
  • Must have one to three semesters remaining in their program as of Fall 2027.
  • Must have a competitive grade point average.
