This unique fellowship provides scholars with the opportunity to explore the intersections of the history of science, knowledge, and technology in early modern Italy. The fellowship is split between two renowned institutions: the Warburg Institute in London for the fall term (September-December 2027) and Villa I Tatti in Florence for the spring term (January-June 2028).
Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates must hold a Ph.D.
- Early and mid-career scholars are eligible.
- Applicants must demonstrate research fluency in English and at least reading proficiency in Italian.
- Research projects must relate to the themes of the fellowship: history of science, knowledge, and technology in early modern Italy.
