This unique fellowship provides scholars with the opportunity to explore the intersections of the history of science, knowledge, and technology in early modern Italy. The fellowship is split between two renowned institutions: the Warburg Institute in London for the fall term and Villa I Tatti in Florence for the spring term.

Fellows gain access to the outstanding collections of both institutions and contribute to their intellectual communities. The program encourages innovative research into the cultural, intellectual, and art history of the Renaissance, particularly in the Italian context.

Fellowship Duration:

Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates must hold a Ph.D.
  • Early and mid-career scholars are eligible.
