The Ashinaga Africa Initiative provides full financial support for orphaned students from Sub-Saharan Africa to complete an undergraduate degree at a world-class university abroad, with study destinations across Japan, Europe, the USA, and Brazil.
Eligibility Requirements
- Have lost one or both parents
- Aged 23 or younger at the time of application
- National of an eligible Sub-Saharan African country
- Committed to returning to and contributing to Sub-Saharan Africa after graduating
- No dependents; in good health to study abroad
